Concession Guidelines: 1- The Yemassee Shrimp Festival reserves the right to refuse any vendor that does not conform to our guidelines and the information submitted in your application.  What you list on your application is what you are expected to sell. 2- The festival committee will control the number and type of items sold and will determine vendor location.  No Snap-Pops or sexually explicit materials allowed. 3- Any vendor may set up beginning 12:00 noon and ending 6:00pm on Thursday. ALL VENDORS MUST BE IN PLACE AND SET UP BY 3:00PM ON FRIDAY. NO VENDORS ALLOWED AFTER THIS TIME. Deliveries by vehicle must be before 9:00am on Saturday. Rules will be enforced by the Yemassee Police Department. We ask that all vendors remain open until 9:00pm on Friday night, you may stay open longer if you wish. 4- Booths must be set up/assembled by the participant.  Tables and tents are not provided by the festival. 5- Food participants are responsible for complying with all State Health Department Regulations. 6- All persons selling items are responsible for collecting S. C. Sales Tax. 7- The festival provides electrical power to the pole outlet only.  All adaptors, fuses, cords, etc. will be the sole responsibility of the participant. 8- Application fee is non-refundable on accepted applications. 9- Fees must accompany application.  If you are not awarded space, your funds will be returned to you. 10- Your units must fit on a 20x20 space, including tongues. 11- Our contract with the carnival prohibits any sale of cotton candy or candies apples. 12- Off site parking is available for RV's and vans as we have limited space.  They need to be self-contained, as water and sewer are limited. 13- Food participants also need to attach insurance coverage information to their vendor application.
