Concession Guidelines:

The Yemassee Shrimp Festival reserves the right to refuse any vendor that does not conform to our guidelines and the information submitted in your place.  What you list on your application is what you are expected to sell.
1- The festival committee will control the number and type of items sold and will determine vendor location.  No Snap-Pops are allowed! Vendors are not allowed to sell or display anything that is considered sexual or suggestive. Any board member who considers your merchandise, language, or music to be in bad taste will be asked to leave with no refunds.
2- Vendors may begin setting up on Thursday the 13th at 12pm. ALL VENDORS MUST BE IN PLACE AND SET UP BY 12 NOON FRIDAY THE 14TH OR THEY WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
3- Deliveries to your space by a vehicle must be before 9am Saturday. rules will be enforced by the Yemassee Police Department. We ask that all vendors remain open until 11pm on friday and midnight on Saturday. You may stay open longer if you wish.
4- NO CARS, TRUCKS, OR TRAILERS ARE PERMITTED IN THE CONCESSION AREA DURING OPERATION HOURS!
5- Booths must be set up/assembled by the participant.  Tables and tents are not provided by the festival.
6- VENDORS MUST FIT ON A 20X20 SPACE, INCLUDING THE TONGUE OF THE TRAILER! IF YOU ARE USING A TENT, ALL SIDES MUST REMAIN UP.
7- Food participants are responsible for complying with all State Health Department Regulations.
8- All persons selling items are responsible for collecting S. C. Sales Tax.
9- The festival provides electrical power to the pole outlet only.  All adaptors, fuses, cords, etc. will be the sole responsibility of the participant. (NO GENERATORS ALLOWED)
10- Fees must accompany application.  If you are not awarded space, your funds will be returned to you. Application fee is non-refundable on accepted applications. Vendors are not guaranteed any location.
11- Each vendor must furnish his/her own trashcan outside set up. the trash around your area must be picked up constantly.
12- You may only use the electricity that you requested and paid for with your application. (extension cords will NOT be provided in spaces that were paid for without electricity)
13- All set ups must be removed by 9am Sunday morning. Please remove all trash, cinder blocks or other items that you used to secure your booth.
14- No refunds will be given due to any interruption in the festival as a result of weather or any other cause beyond the control of the festival committee.
